Compensation Program Design to Enhance Productivity and Retention

Laff Associates has designed compensation programs for both free-standing and hospital-based home health agencies. Examples of these projects include:

  • Designed incentive driven compensation plans for clinical staff of both hospital-based and free-standing agencies in the states of South Carolina, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, California, Nevada, Ohio

These plans have dramatically increased productivity, both case-loads and units of service, increased the timeliness, completeness and accuracy of documentation, improved staff retention and fixed the lower direct per visit costs of salaries, payroll taxes, fringe benefits and auto allowances (reimbursement).

Incentive programs were also developed for all levels of non-clinical staff based upon productive performance that included timeliness and accuracy and agency achievement of targeted goals.
